Can any OBD2 Distributor be used for ITR '97-'01?
I always thought this is the case. However, the part counter guy at Accura deler said no. Only ITR distributor can be with ITR nothing else. Shine the lights on me please.

Naw the parts counter guy just doesn't know any better. Most of them don't know anything besides whats printed in the book.

I have noticed that the distributors do look familiar but I never tried them so non vtec Distributor will maybe fit the Vtec head
