D15b2 block/D16Z6 minime swap - over thinking this?
I have a D15b2 block, about to do a D16Z6 minime swap. no big deal
Im probably really over thinking this.
Is there much more to it than to switch to multipoint fuel injection and OBD1?
P28 ECU+si wire harness (with only relevant connectors)+ MPFI intake= swap done?
In simple terms, am I missing anything, or does this seem possible and easy?

Sounds like the wiring harness is what you're overthinking. Address the MPFI and then address OBD conversion (most likely using a jumper harness right?).
Since you have a D15B2 it sounds like you have a DX or LX.
If that is the case, then you can't just drop in the Si Engine harness.
You will need to convert your existing DPFI harness to work with MPFI (this is what 24TEN is saying for MPFI).
Sounds complicated... it's not.
Add a couple wires and move a few ECU pins pretty much.
AHHH that makes sense
Yes, it is a 1990 DX, not SI
Well that just makes it easier and cheaper then. I will keep looking for a write up for the wiring that I can actually comprehend. too bad there isnt a video! I will grab an MPFI intake off ebay or maybe local and see if i cant get this thing in soon.
Debating on getting the ARP head studs. I know most people just reuse the stock head bolts. Did you guys end up buying studs?
