Default 95 Civic CX Muffler

Hello all. I'm sorry for what I'm sure should be a relatively simple question, but I really can't figure out type of muffler I should get.

I have a 95 Civic CX, and my entire muffler is rusted out. I don't believe I need an entire catback however, just a muffler. Ideally I would get a stock muffler, because I really would rather it be as quiet as possible, but stock mufflers are expensive. What muffler should I get, and where should I get it from? I tend to buy things from Amazon, but the selection there, so far as I can tell, is limited.

Also, I'm fairly certain the bolts are going to have to be cut off. I'm assuming I can just get the proper sized bolts from the local hardware store?

Thanks a ton!

Thrush mufflers are good, and you can get them from your local Autozone, and have an exhaust shop weld it up for you. Don't worry about the nuts and bolts - they should be able to handle that.

personally the walker quiet flow ss is very and I mean VERY close to the factory honda muffler. Walker did make Honda's mufflers. If you look at yours you might see the name stamped "WALKER" on it.

I did try bosal for factory replacement and it had a droning noise on the highway, so I got rid of that and got a walker. I wasn't into getting a performance muffler just wanted it to be quiet. and the walker has been great for a year, no rust yet!

I did you a favor, looked up the part number it's walker 53157

and at amazon
Amazon.com: Walker 53157 Quiet-FlowSS Muffler Assembly: Automotive Amazon.com: Walker 53157 Quiet-FlowSS Muffler Assembly: Automotive

here's a link to what i found for ya
