I would think for a build that extreme a custom fab header would give you the most power. Even Some of the best "off the shelf" header companies don't design the majority of their products for a build that stout. It's goin to cost a bit if you don't have any friends in the fabrication world, but you gotta pay to play!

King Motorsports makes some good custom headers as well, but as said above if your going to spend the coin, go with Sheepey or Myers and call it a day. This of course is only if your goal is to make the most power EVERYWHERE. If your building a drag car or something where all you need is top end power, header selection is a little easier.

Also a company I forgot to mention, ASP or Advanced Street Performance LLC. They are in the $1300 range as well, but will build you a beautiful header in 304 Stainless to spec for your exact setup. Here's a pic of one of their Megaphone B series headers.

Thanks! It's a lot of money, but worth it if you're serious about going fast.

A real smsp custom big tube was 1380. I know because I have the only one ever built that comes out three inch. It has produced 332whp on my allmotor setup hoping to get a myers now to see the difference in power.

The one I had made is also a 3" collector, should work well.

How about the PLM big tube header, any feedback on them?

That's is a beautiful custom side exit there, Sheepey does excellent work. As for Private Label Mfg./PLM's big tube, it's a good copy of a good header, so it will make more power on a stout all motor setup than say a stock or DC header, but not as wild as some of the custom jobs.
I don't know if they're still in production or not, but for my DC2 daily all motor street car, I had a PLM copy of RMF's "Narrow" header that I've since replaced with a real RMF Stainless header, and the RMF only made an extra 6HP/4TQ vs the PLM. This is small enough that it could have been a difference in weather or anything else. (Same dyno, same time of year, 2 years apart)
So the PLM copies are great for the money. But this is a fairly simple setup: P73 OEM shortblock (B18C), Ported P72 head with 01 DC2-R cams and valvetrain, AEM TruTime cam gears (+1/+1),Skunk2 intake manifold, ported DC2R TB, Comptech intake, stock fuel rail/regulator, stock ignition etc, tuned on 93 pump. Behind the header is a 2.5" Magnaflow high flow cat, back to 2.5" Mandrel SS pipe to a modified DC2-R muffler. Setup made 184.6/132.1 with PLM header, 190.2/136.4 with RMF header.
