90 Accord Steering Problem
I hit a curb after sliding on ice today and there was a pretty loud thud. After pulling away the steering was extremely loose. The wheel also does not return to the center after cornering. There is no feel at all, but the wheel still turns the tires. Do you have any idea whats broken, or how much it will cost?
I know nothing about this sort of thing, sorry if this is not the right place for this.

You could bend all sorts of things. Sounds like your alignment is screwed. Check for bent lower, upper control arms and tie-rod.
That would my first guess.
Maybe Call up Midas,Pep-Boys, or whatever and have an alignment done. That will tell you whats up

Oh wow. I see that too. But what appears to be a crack is dry. Wonder how long that has been their. Or it could be the camera playing tricks with us.
Also see evidence of tire rub on what appears to the sway bar or maybe a torque arm?.
