I have a 90 SI with a great looking interior. No rips or major stains anywhere. My question is: has anyone had a good experience with seat covers that still provide some grip?

I want to preserve the interior as best I can. The car is garaged. But Seat covers would be nice, just in case. The downside is that I love the grip and bolstering of the stock seats. Thoughts?

 

I don't know if seat covers will save these seats. The foam gets worn down, then the metal eventually wears through the seat. This would happen regardless of a seat cover in my opinion.
