thought of doing a b swap or keeping the d15 in my civic and putting a vtec head on. what are the pros and cons of both? and opinions??

 

Pros: you have it already well at least the bottom half

It is cheaper you don't have to buy motor mounts or any thing like that

B-series trans are expensive.




Cons: rods are weaker so you can't spin it as fast or increase horse power too much.

Way less aftermarket support.

Smaller displacement.

Less power in stock form.
