Default 2006 Honda CR V LX - P0301 (MISFIRE CYL 1)

Hi everyone I'm a new CRV owner and one of those guys that tries to DIY jobs needed as long as I can. I just recently changed my Catalytic Converter and changed both O2 sensors when I got a PO420 code. I knew that my cat was bad after doing some few tests. But I just decided to just change the O2 sensors as well. (It's just my feeling that the O2 sensors could go bad with a new cat anyway, that's just me. ) Anyways, and now, after installing the new cat and new sensors. I started my engine and got a new code which is the p0301. I erased the code or in other words ignored it at first because I just thought that it could only be because of a new hardware that was installed that could've affect it. 3 weeks later, the code came back? need some help guys. Cheers y'all and ADV HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Hi bud, i appreciate the reply. Actualy I just changed the plugs 2 months ago. But you know what, I did a few test, i checked the psi for cylinder 1, it was good. Tried and interchange the coil for 1 & 4, it still gave me a misfire for cylinder 1. So now im guessing it could be the injector? So what I did, I put in an injector cleaner for now, reset the system. And from there will see.

Hi guys here are some tests I did with the P0301 code:

1) Compression test for Cylinder one - Remark is GOOD
2) Interchanged coil pack 1 to 4 - still gave me a CYL 1 misfire - so the coil pack's remark is GOOD.
3)I changed the spark plugs with new one -

I did all those tests but the engine light was still ON, so next step that I did, I changed all 4 Fuel Injectors i bought from the dealership, though I did test the resistance of the OLD and the NEW injectors and they are the same. But I still decided to install the new ones.

4) Now new fuel injectors were installed, I cleared the code but so far 3 days after I installed them, the code hasn't come back. And that is VERY GOOD. Also I noticed when the car is idling, I notice a lot change where you barely can't tell that the car is actually ON, unlike before where it's a lil bit shaky. Now I'm just worried, IF IN CASE, WHICH I HOPE NOT that the CODE COMES BACK, what would be the possible thing that I gotta check?

Thank you!

Sounds like you fixed the issue. How many miles are on this vehicle?
