Well, it's been a while since I've posted anything. I apologize in advance if there's a better place for this. It's kind of model specific and there isn't really a general electronics sub forum. I've been in the process of rebuilding my engine harness from scratch. I did it once before but left it all OEM connectors. This time I'm going to use a 66 pin bulk head connector at the firewall. I got tired of fishing wires out every time I wanted to pull the engine with the harness intact. I looked at what was available online to mount the connector to but couldn't find anything that I was too crazy about. I decided I would make my own. I have a small mill and lathe in my shop so I picked up some 1/2 inch aluminum plate and got to work. The mill is not computer controlled so all milling was done by hand without the assistance of a rotary table. The cuts are still a little rough and the final mounting holes have yet to be drilled that will hold it in place but here it is. Comments, critiques, and general feedback are all welcome. I've been considering moving it to the lower hole and just sealing off the A/C hole. I always picture it being lower in my head.
