Default PCV bottom hose question

Just want to know if that pcv valve bottom (that hard pvc bent hose) hose can be replaced with a regular hose, since mines just split in half.

Thanks in advance.

Manifold d16z6.

Pretty much, the only unique part of it is just designed to fit into the flange of the intake manifold. If you're ok with a random hose just passing through it'll still work just the same.
