I lost my wheelock, what to do?
It would be simple to just drive to Acura and get one.
But the thing is, the car is not driveable, so no way I can test and fit the wheel locks at an Acura dealer.
I heard there is only a total of 6 different locks combinations. Can I buy all six and return the other 5 later? Or is there a simpler alternative?

hammer a socket onto each one and work them off..
or try to buy all 6 locks.. they may look at you kinda funny when you try though..

just get some playdoh or whatever. press it into the lock, pull it back out and there u go with the shape. Bring it to the dealer and ask them for that one in particular.
They're bound to have it. I forgot to give them my lock and they managed to to take my tires off anywayz. they're bound to have it.

I did the same thing. Bought a new set of wheel locks and paid a 1/4 hour of "labor" for the dealer to "install" them
Had no other option. Buyer was due in that week.

When I lost mine, I drove the car to the acura dealer and they used their "master" key to take them off and put the original nuts back on......no charge.
Since you can not drive your car, you'd only be able to do this if you could borrow the key......not likely I guess, unless you know someone....sorry...

or you can just go buy 4 19mm 12pt sockets, hammer them on and remove the locks.
Austin
goto the acura dealer and tell them what color your car was or just tell them you lost it and they will get you the correct one, thats how i did it when i stripped mine.
Any tire shop should have wheel lock removers, the are just tapered round sockets with very small teeth that bite into the locks when hammered on.
