Hello, i have a 1996 Honda Accord Ex Coupe 2.2L
And recently since the weather has gotten colder my car seems to hesitate and die on intial colds starts. Sometimes it catches it self and revs up to normal other time I have to give it a little gas to prevent it from dieing. The Fast Idle Thermo Valve comes to mind.. Any ideas

 

If the car runs/idles fine when hot then I would look that the FITV is properly operating. It may just need to be cleaned.
