1990 Acura Integra GS - Should I fix or sell
I have a 1990 Acura Integra GS just sitting in my front yard that hasn't been turned on in 5 or 6 years. I stopped driving it because I had purchase a new vehicle. While it was sitting there I had removed the starter/battery cables because the positive cable was just barely long enough to make contact to the battery terminal. Anyway I never completed the repair and just let the car sit. So should I bother repairing it or would I be in over my head since its been sitting for so long?

Hell naw put it back together, check your spark plugs and replace them there very cheap, then do a oil change and use a new oil filter, pour some fresh fuel in that thing and start her up i bet it will start right up if it was in good health befpore you ritired it. These engines are pretty reliable believe it or not you would be surprised how efficiant a honda engine can be! my D series powered civic runs like a champ i mean its just a trooper.
You will make more money if it runs if any thing!

Drain ALL the fuel. Even a trace of old gas will cause the same problem as 100% old gas. These engines have tight valve stem clearances and will seize valves after you run it. The stems will varnish after it cools down, and when you try to start it again it will sound like a bad starter, which is the timing belt running over the cam gears. A few years probably won't do it, but when this newer fuel sits 4,5,6 years and up, it par for the course.
