hi my name is paul im looking to buy a civic that has a turboed d16y8 swap in it and it isnt making spark what could cause this issue and is it a possible easy fix any information is greatly appreciated

What year Civic?

Does the fuel pump prime?

Just don't. Never buy another man's project. It could be something simple, or it could be something completely off the wall. Since you haven't bought the car yet, you can't do the diagnostic tests to know, so we can't really help you. There are half a dozen things that could cause no spark, varying in complexity and price pretty heavily.
