Hi all, hope you guys can help me out with this one. I'm leaving to go back home from college very soon and can really use advice!

My little accord went in for some repairs recently, a muffler patch up and replacing the charcoal canister. Got it back from the shop on Dec 2nd (if I'm remembering correctly), and it ran great. No problems, no check engine lights, nothing. Drove it yesterday for about an hour total, no issues starting up or driving. I go to turn it on about 20 minutes ago to run an errand and nothing. Cranks but won't turn over. I figured it was just being cranky because it's a little cold, but no matter how long I wait and what tricks I use, it won't start.

Some other maybe important stuff:

• The radio, clock, and lights all work,
• I have a little less than half a tank of gas,
• All my fluid levels are fine.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

How to Troubleshoot No Start - Honda 2.3L

I always start by checking for spark. For me loss of spark (from a bad coil or ignitor, both inside of the distributor) is the number one cause for "ran fine, then suddenly won't start." number two is the main relay. this activates the fuel pump. instructions for how to check both of those things should be included in the above link.

 

cranking and turning over are the same. The motor is moving via the starter just not getting fire or fuel to run.
