My alternator will not pivot back and forth. I can't find a good place to wedge my pry bar either. I soaked it in anti-seize before I tried to move it. Should I try heat or do you guys know of any good places to wedge the pry bar? Thanks

 

Are the bolts loose?
I know there's more than one, not just the one on the slide.

 

loosen up that bottom bolt, should pivot freely afterwards
