I came across a set of ITR springs/struts and asked for a photo to verify their authenticity. The front springs have the color markings of what appears to be Grey/Blue/Green.

I've read to look for purple/blue/green and purple/blue/grey markings for the front.

So, for all the ITR gurus, is this front set of springs true ITR?

I dont remember seeing any markings on my stock front springs when I just removed the suspension. Might have just worn off over the years. However, those dont look nearly as coiled as my stockers either.

I noticed blue and green on the rears though. I can double check in the next day or so if no answer by then.

I sent a follow up email about the suspension, asking about the Grey/Blue/Purple markings and still haven't heard back. I don't think this was a true set of ITR springs.

 

The bushings on the top hat would be a giveaway as the type r are unique in function and appearance. For genuine used R parts hmotorsonline is the best resource.
