Which spark plugs recommend for an ITR
Is time to replace the spark plugs of my ITR (stock engine, no mods) and there's too much information at the web about this thread, so I ask some friends but just get more confused about it, so the straight question is...
On your experience, which spark plugs recommend for a stock ITR?
Thanks :D

I'd recommend going with the oem spark plugs. They are kinda expensive, but every time I've gone with stuff like bosch or other auto parts store options, I've ended up with misfiring problems after a while on both my itr and gsr, and it was always solved by replacing them with the exact oem plugs. This is one of those areas that you get no benefit from deviating from oem, and you're just asking for potential problems imo.
OEM NGK always for my stock ITR. I always change them every 60K, my ITR has ~245K on the original motor. Never had an issue with the OEM NGK plugs, PFR6G-11.
Depends, there are a lot of choices depending on your need. If you dont want to change plugs again for a long time, go with platinum or iridium plugs. As mentioned above, OEM NGK R plugs, PFR6G-11 are platinum and dont need to be changed very often.
Or you could go the cheaper route and get copper plugs which work fine but need to be changed a little more often. And if you ever do any mods you can consider using different heat ranges as well but its not required.
Advanced Auto Parts sells most of these, or you can order online from NGK or Sparkplugs.com
Usually I stick with NGK and used all of these in the past:
NGK 5555 PFR6G-11 Laser Platinum Plug (OEM)
NGK 5553 BKR6ES-11 Standard Plug
NGK 2756 BKR6E-11 V-Power Plug
NGK 3764 BKR6EIX-11 IX Iridium Plug
Currently Im using NGK 4952 BKR7ES-11 Standard Plug on a very slightly modded motor with 140K and the car runs great. I tend to change my plugs a lot to keep an eye on how the motor is running.
