Oct 25: my oil light flash intermittently as I was warming up the car at my work parking lot. Shut off the car, let it sit for a few min and check the oil dip stick. NO oil on the stick. I was like wtf? I did buy 8 bottles of Castrol GTX 5-30 the nite before but I took them out of my trunk. So I walked to a store nearby to buy 2 bottles of Castrol GTX 5-30 so I can get home. Put in another bottle of oil. Level indicator at Full.

Nov 6 (today): check oil dipstick before starting the car. indicator at 1/4 mark between low and full??????????

Should I get a leak down test done?

No signs of oil on the driveway.

 

Jack the car up and see if it is leaking from anywhere. Then do a compression and leakdown test to see if the motor is burning it. Any signs of smoke from the exhaust?

Yeah, that's what my friend recommended me to do. He said it may only leak when I drive the car. He also told me to check the color of coolant; if it's brown, oil may be leaking into there.

No, no black or blue smoke.

 

Sounds like a headgasket problem...
