Default old b18c5 rebuild for itb's

Sup guys. looking for similar builds for street/track and how well they perform

finally blew the block in my b18c5 from abuse and its time for the winter rebuild. Not daily driven but sometimes used for ***** n giggles on my 30min ride to work. basically just go to events at the local tracks which i normally dont partake in... just parking spot queen

Current setup-
b18c5 - with i/h/e bolt ons + gears. running obd1 entire fuel system updated. last motor was turbo ls so the shell itself already up to date

game plan originally was oem rebuild if the blocks clean *overheated due to fuel issue and fried rings/head gasket* otherwise ill probably bump the compression up to 11.1-11.5

looking at jenvy or twm itb's, not sure length wise whats the best option but 48mm or 52mm seems to be what the majority use on similar builds. basically 2k for a itb setup, cant see myself spending 4k for toda...

as for the head depends what the machine shop says. upgrading springs/retainers, was looking at skunk2 pro 2s, and most likely new valves and possible guides if worn.

cam suggestions? itb suggestions as far as specs go? noty to obx. Ideally id like to bump my redline to 10k after balancing the motor and dial in for mid-high rpm. running a ys1 with 4.9 f/d itr lsd so not concerned about low end power loss

would love to see others build list and if possible how they made out on the dyno? most likely gonna street tune so wont know true hp #s

Take a look for Hayabusa 1300's ITBs. Bike ITBs are perfect for this kind of projects, even better than TWMs or Jenveys. Also take special care to intake design (from ITBs to head). Not only length but diameter. A calculated intake for your requirements is better than a "race" intake of OBX or similar.

For a b18c 48 is the biggest I think you should go. Find some 2010 and up cbr1000rr ones on ebay and go from there. A tuner of mine used obx itb on a ycp piston 84mm setup with m24xx cams (roughly 268 degrees duration ) and made 258 and 200 tq using e85. Stock port head. The more velocity you can create with the itb the more cam you can use

I have some cbr throttles that would make a perfect custom setup with modification. They were a bit too small for my goals.

in contact with jenvey about their setup. not cheap but they will do the plumbing and bundling some things for me like injectors/tps/fpr etc. should be 100% bolt on affair other then towing to get tuned. in the process of rebuilding block so will break in while tuning -.-
