97 honda that needs parts everywhere
Bought this 97 honda civic that was a salvage car which I had not heard of before. lol... I should not of bought it without someone there for sure. Valuable lesson. Needs head lamp covers. Rubber seals around doors. Sunvisors both sides. Inside well needs lots... Now blinkers stopped working and had it checked for fuses and he said couldn't see where it needed bulbs or whatever it is. It gets cold putting my arm out window.
Salvage car usually means salvaged title, which could have any number of reasons. Usually salvaged titles are for cars which were "totaled" by insurance companies due to accidents.
However, some salvaged titles can be because the car was in a flood. Flood damaged cars are bad news all-around and should really just be scrapped, unless you can get them for next to free.
Are you asking what's wrong with your turn signal? Could be a bad relay or a short somewhere.
Like you said - valuable lesson, unfortunately. :/
depending on the quantity or severity of any other issues, I would seriously consider cutting your losses, dumping that car for whatever you can reasonably get out of it, and go buy one that's not salvaged.
