Paint Engine/Transmission To Match Car?
Has anyone ever paint matched their engine and transmission casing to match their paint color code? I have seen this done on older model vehicles and actually really liked the look with polished accessories. G2 makes a nice epoxy and can paint match upon request "I am ordering a kit in custom color to match the car color code for the big brake upgrade calipers anyways" I have a b series setup w/polished accents already & am debating what color to paint the motor & trans. I am between this idea which would be "Captiva Blue Pearl" or "Gloss Black". The problem with black is its hard to see oil leaks and the problem with silver is everyone does it & its kind of boring to me.
The setup has/will have
-polished turbo manifold, polished turbo, SS bolts, polished air 2 water intercooler & piping etc
Original plan was black motor, SS hardware, powdercoated accents in various black
If anyone has done this throw up some pics. I tried searching but 95% of them are just silver painted motors and blocks. Its clean no doubt buuuut I am leaning towards just about anything but silver.
