Default 98 accord popping out 5th gear

Title says it all my people. I hope its not the syncros. Has anyone had this issue and what they did to solve it?? Thanx

Loss of gear position is rooted in shaft movements, meaning the bearings that support the shaft are loose, and the shift change piece is potentially worn out/bent. This allows the shafts to thrust past the shift detents during acceleration/deceleration, pushing the unit out of gear. Usually occurs in 2nd gear.

You'd wish it was the blocking rings once you see how much work and cost is required to re-bearing a transmission properly.

Thanks slowcivic2k. Im really hoping its something in the gear box not in the transmission.
