Greetings all ! I just picked up my 2003 Accord LX 5 speed sedan yesterday. I'm loving it..it seems to be just about as fast as my 93 Acura Vigor that I traded in.

My plans right now are to get the fog lights, spoiler, and some rims (not sure which ones.) I was hoping you all could give me some more suggestions for rims, accesories, and making it faster...if this was your car what would you do?

no spoiler, 15 or 16 inch rims and you don't need fog lights unless they come stock

if it was my car I wouldn't do anything to it until it was paid off

well then you are lucky, I would stay away from spoilers at all cost, they do nothing excapt create drag on the car

what kind of stock numbers does that car have? performance wise

 

18's...bag it...Hyperwhite fogs...no wing

 

if that is what you wanna do, go to the appearance forum and ask about mods

 

15", maybe 16" wheels with fat rubber. That's about it. Keep it stock as long as possible to learn which areas of the car you want to improve. Maybe do the shocks and springs when you want a handling boost.
It'll be a while before you can do anything significant to that engine.

 

Congrats. Like Dave said, it'll be a while before companies come out with anything, which is good, so you can save $ for modding. Its already paid off? That's sweet.

 

Go to the tirerack.com and you can add the wheels to the actual vehicle.
I ordered my Accord EX 5 speed but, haven't received it yet.
How do you add the image to the post? I have a picture of an 03 Accord I was going to pleace here.

 

Tirerak.com is sweet! I wanted the EX to but I was suppose to only spend $15,000 so getting the LX was a stretch as it was.

the coupe is yummmmm, accord sedank. But just do whatever as long as you dont break your warrenty. I say go for 18s, you seem like you're into looks more.

I wish Honda made 19" wheels like that. I would say improve the overall look right now and by the time they make performance products for it you will have the car looking good ready to be made fast.

(19" chromes, maybe a leather kit, woodgrain dash, also I would try to remove the yellow in the headlights)
