B16 stock air intake on a B18
Looking to swap a B18C1 into my VX. The stock air intake on the B18C1 isn't plug and play with the Civic frame.
I wondering if the B16A3 (Del Sol VTEC) stock air intake would work with the B18C1 intake manifold?

More specifically would part #2 in the diagram below fit the air intake arm on a B18C1?
The 96-97 Del Sol VTEC shares the same cover part number as my VX, but the 94-95 Del Sol VTEC shows part number 17210-P30-000. Since the 96-97 Del Sol and VX cover (Part number 17210-P07-000) doesn't fit on the B18C1 air intake arm, I'm hoping the different in part numbers might be do to the diameter of the pipe.

Looks like I can fabricate the GSR's mounting bracket. ITR airbox in a Civic, but I'm not sure if the Del Sol VTEC's dual core radiator will then fit.

The GSR rubber intake elbow can be used with the stock airbox top. Kind of.
My setup is the 94-95 Del Sol VTEC upper / lower airbox with the GSR air intake elbow in a 93 Civic. The problem I ran into is that the GSR air intake elbow flares to a larger diameter than the air box. The OD of the air box outlet is 3.0" and the ID of the GSR air intake elbow is 3.25" if I remember correctly. I ended up making a small spacer to fit over the air box side to increase the diameter slightly. It works so far, but I've only put about 200 miles on the car since the swap.
The fitment angles of the GSR intake tube and the Del Sol airbox are a bit off, but nothing major.
I think the only difference between the 94-95 and 96-97 Del Sol VTEC air boxes is that the 94-95 unit has a curved radius on the air entry. The outlet diameters are the same.

And you're correct the GSR air intake elbow ID is 3.25".
