200whp b16 (millionth thread)
So I've been doing my research and reading and see that it's relatively hard to make 200whp with a b16 without stroking/staying at 1595cc. I plan on fully building my b16 (I know get a gsr),because I love the r/s ratio/high revving capabilities. So,my plan is to bore/sleeve to 84-85mm and make 1.8l,and build the sh*t out of it,but not change my crank or anything of that sort,to maintain the r/s.
That being said,if I'm at 1.8l,how hard will it be to make the 200whp at that point? With all corresponding parts to support it of course i.e: fully built valve train,sk2 cams,310cc+ injectors, better fuel pump, weisco or maybe cp Pistons, idk what brand rods yet,and so on.
I have a 1.6l Nissan that's built and boosted,I guess I'm just a small displacement sortve guy.

200whp from a 1.8 liter should be cake IMO. Check out the all motor dyno registry for ideas.
Keep in mind a dyno is a tuning tool so if you don't hit 200 whp, don't sweat it. If the engine has been tuned correctly and runs the way it should, then your good. Find a higher reading dyno if you just want to hit that number.

Right on man...my motor currently is pretty much stock,a no name cai, headers to straight through exhaust and a tune..how fast will 180whp-200whp be compared to what I'm pushing now?
Well it's kinda hard to describe, but the increase in displacement will definitely be noticeable. You will love the torque increase trust me. For comparison sake, several years ago, I was running a 13.9 with a 1.8 liter. Sleeved and rebuilt the bottom end to 2 liters and was automatically @ 13.4. Same head. Same tune (stupid i know).pretty much same everything. This was before I learned the importance of tuning. The greatest thing was the 15-20 ft lbs of torque increase pretty much everywhere. While 15 ft lbs may not sound like much, it feels like alot! It felt so much better, made the difference in needing to downshift or not to pass a car.
