i have a question, i want to install two 2x4 LED lights in my 94 accord Lx, but i want them to turn on with my high beams,
whats the simples way and also safe?
wiring them directly to my high beams and ground them?
or do i have to use a relay and a fuse, in this case, do you have a diagram? or any diagram would work.
i found this.
i have the doubt because i dont really know what is the upfitter switch
i really dont know what negrative trigger means,
can i just wire the red cable to the power wire of the high beams and ground the black wire? is there a con of doing that?
"negative trigger" means the factory design of the high beams is that they come on when ground is applied - the "hot" wire to the high beams is hot when the lights are on.....not just when high is selected but when just the low is selected
So without a relay. You would run a "hot" wire from a fused hot source. Then tap into the ground wire of the high beams (ORN?WHT)
EDIT: If you really don't care then just tap into both wires from the high beam and call it a day
