Last meeting I ran 14.0 four times besting with a 14.00.
Dropped 62 lbs since then so I was confident tonight was the night. First run: Got out of the hole alright (2.101 60') then I'm half way thru 3rd and thinking "this is it" then bababbaba. Misfired all the way to the line and ran a 14.03 @ 95.03 mph.
Next run misfire got worse. 14.20 @ 92 mph.
Not happy!!! Checked the usual culprits but had no tools so home I went. Forgot the bonnet pins in my state of rage. I am now the proud owner of a f%^ed
bonnet!!!

The car is gonna have to sit in the garage for a couple of days until I calm down.....
