Why has this not been done a million times? Google and search has utterly failed me. Does that mean we stock 1st and 2nd gens are cruising around with a squeeking cassett tape as our aux input?

I'd be happy to if I could get a head unit that retains the use of my steering wheel mounted volume controls.

Now you see the delima

I've seen these on ebay? I was looking for a Aux in for my 06. I lost interest so I never ended up buying it.

People still use aux? Cut the cords and buy a new headunit with BT.

I think my Kenwood double din has the steering wheel control built in. DDX771 is the model number. When I was installing I'm certain I read something about factory steering wheel volume control. It also has Ipod/iphone control with a built in USB cable and Bluetooth. I just sync my phone and can stream music off it as well as answer calls through the head unit with the supplied microphone.

Edit: Found this. It does have steering wheel control capability. http://www.crutchfield.com/S-giKmAOT...od-DDX771.html

Berz out.
