2000 civic dx wont shift into gear
Hey fellas, little issue here... A few weeks ago I started noticing my clutch felt a little different; less resistance as I try to push it to the floor maybe, as time went on i just brushed it off and thought it was in my head until I noticed it was harder to get the car into first and second until i had been driving for a bit. I let this go on for a week or two until i broke my foot and could no longer drive the car... FF to now, all healed up and after just over 3 weeks the car still runs and starts up just fine only i cannot for the life of me get er into gear.... ive been playing around with it but can only get it into reverse where it will grind. any ideas what could be wrong here??
Open your hood, and remove the boot covering where the slave cylinder makes contact with the clutch fork. Have a friend pump the clutch while you watch the slave cylinder. Do you see it moving?
