Hi everyone this is my first post on this site.

So my problem is I recently purchased a UK crx 1.6i-VT and I'm having trouble with the manufacture date on the vin. I have read the decoder posts but they say that 0 is not used in the 10th position however it is on my car. Can anybody help explain this. My car should be a 1992.

 

Are you using a UK specific decoder? Most are for US market cars.

 

 

model year is not the 10th position for EE8 - see picture below

2 = 1990
3 = 1991
