Default Whited's 99 CRV

Picked up this CRV for $500 as a winter beater.

Sorry just the one picture.

It's out of inspection soon, so I need to do some basics to get it road legal. Also, it is Auto so I'm not sure I'll keep it for long.

Does anyone know where I can find quarters?

I need exhaust, any thoughts?

What plans to do on or with it? Automatic's aren't to bad for daily drivers though.

I'm looking up Cats right now. I need that as well. Looks like for close to the same price, I can get an universal cat 2.5 inch, and cheap ebay headers. I'd have to do some modifications of course. But direct fit is $180, where universal is $80. That exhaust you recommended is 2.5 inch, so I'd probably have to adapt from the stock fit anyways.

Geez this is a lot of work for a beater.

Oh, I just ordered up all new front joints, uppers, lowers, inners, and outers from summit for $250. I was told it needed a BJ. I couldn't narrow it down when I looked at it by myself. It was just completely loose.

Any recommendations on roof racks? This CRV is meant for me to drive up to the slopes with my snowboard.

Ripped apart the left front, started adding all new joints.

Left rear, I started the cheap fix of the quarter. No-one told me where I could find replacements, so I am just using fiberglass. ($500 car yo)

I hope this exhaust sounds as good as it looks!

Missing the on rear hanger. Will need to weld in a new one.

The is what the right rear looks like after beating it up with a hammer. The left was worst.

Holy rust batman. Did you get a tetanus shot prior to working on it?

That thing has a lot of cancer on it to be throwing on performance parts. I would just throw on cheapy eBay parts which will probably outlast the body at least. Save the cash and tinkerer spirit for other stuff.

It is ebay crap. It is only marginally more money than oem walker parts. It is simple enough to take it off and put on another if I desire at the end.
