Where to find a trim clip (not the white or green)
On the wagon, Honda considered the equivalent piece to be part of the side protector trim. It did not have a separate part number. Likely the same on the hatch. Pick-n-pull is your best bet.

The black piece is not shown, so it does not have a part number.
The white clip will slide out of the black one by pushing the molding either forward or backward. It may also be possible to release the white clip by pushing a thin piece of metal (like a 6 in. pocket scale) up from underneath against the bottom catch of the white clip.

thanks for the advice everyone, now I just need a yard somewhere remotely close to me with an ef..... gonna be a while lol. they simply don't exist this far north with all the salt and what have you.
