2002 Accord SE 4cyl 2.3L 160k miles

the clutch was replaced a year ago and at first felt great, but over time it started to provide less resistance to the point it felt as if I bled the system. I changed the slave cylinder but not the master as I saw no leaking and still have the problem and have to bleed the system almost daily.

I am however able to engage the clutch to shift and drive. Also there is enough resistance where if I'm shifting into nuetral or quickly double clutching, it will partially disengage its self.

Should I do the master cylinder, or is it something else with the clutch. I'm currently unemployed so I don't want to waste money on parts I don't need. Thanks!

 

The only reason you should be needing to bleed it is if it's leaking somewhere. Look up at the pushrod for the MC and see if it's leaking there. If it is, you should simply need to replace and rebleed it through and be back to good.

 

Thanks, but I've looked over the entire system and the only leak I've ever found was from the boot on the slave cylnder. I already replaced that.

Not sure if this can give any futher insight to my issue, when I push the clutch in sometimes there is a hiss, and other times it sounds like rubber sliding across metal.
