Default Turning a hydro trans onto cable operated?

Hey guys, I got my B18a1 a few weeks back and have begun the build. It came with the original transmission (hydro) and I'm wondering if it's possible to use it with my cable set up. I found these brackets on ebay that supposidly convert the tranny over to cable. Has anyone ever heard of these? Good idea or bad? Thank you. I don't have any experience, however that thing is going to have so much play your going to hate it and most likely it won't work properly.

Another thing you can do is convert the car to hydro or switch the case to a cable big spline.

I havent used that one, but the hasport kit sucks. Spend the money and get the innovative kit. Friend of mine installed in on a f2b swap with a stage 4 clutch and it feels factory smooth. The hasport kit was so bad we couldnt even actuate the clutch and almost broke his pedal. The full mechanical conversion kits seem to be pretty poor at their job, but hybrid systems, while more expensive, work great

the hasport lever assembly was never meant for anything more than stock or stock style clutches. anything more and it binds up. that is why we came out with the CMA which uses a master cylinder acutated by the clutch cable

I know, thats why i pointed out that with a stiff clutch it binds. A stock pressure plate it gets the job done though.

A lot of people dont realize that with a stiff clutch you need to either go full hydro or use a hybrid system

Get a transmission case from a '92 - '93 Integra and put the guts from the transmission you have into it, or find a complete '92 - '93 Integra RS/LS transmission.
