Default 85mm destroked CSS b20v 1st build opinions & advice needed *pics*

Hello I'm new here but let's get to it.
I want to build a b20v that will make power to 11k so far I bought a b20 block then I had it css'd by cnc werx

, a b17 crank

, & b16 head

. I plan on sending it to rjt to make it flow at 11k & Im thinking about buying skunk2 ultra cams since they claim to make power at 11.5k & retain vtec I'll buy the springs & retainers recommended. I really don't know what intake will help me with power up there any suggestions? But all together I should be at a r/s ratio of 1.74 & a displacement of 1847cc I would love input on my numbers for the bottom end I would need a piston with the dome size of 18.3cc & a 28.67mm compression height, rod length would have to be 141.4mm sitting on a b17 crank 81.4mm I would be 0.042in in the hole with a compression height of 14.50 let me know if this would be reliable

Sound like a cool build. Different. Although 11.5k rpms and reliability don't really go together. If your asking if it will work, sure it sounds like you did all the calculations and it could hold together for years depending how many times you take it to 11.5 k rpms.
Lightweight rods will probably be a good idea at this point.
For your project, is consult with some pros like rlz or 4piston. I'm sure to flow what you want to at 11k rpms, serious headwork will be needed. I'd assume a larger plenum with short fat runners like the victor x manifold. But even that may not be optimal. Good luck!

Just finished a build like this. After 8200rpms it feels like a second vtec. Amazing engine response.
