Now I know a million of these threads come up but I wanted some input from people more knowledgable than me on my specific set up. As of now it's a 100% stock ITR motor in a 90' CRX HF. Want to replace the rings and a few small things in the head. Not wanting crazy power but 200+ at the wheels is my goal. Car is used for autocross/ road course racing can check my build thread if interested in sig. Here's the plan:
Already ordered
Skunk2 tuner stage 2 cams
Skunk2 pro series cam gears
Skunk2 LMAs (are these needed with this cam?)
Super tech valve springs and Ti retainers
Stock ITR valves I don't see a reason to upgrade for my mild goals or am I wrong?
PLM Toda rep header
NEW OEM GSR/ITR oil and water pump
Baffle for OEM oil pan (still needs to be welded in)
ARP head studs, rod bolts, and flywheel bolts
Planned
Bottom end will stay stock with (will make sure cylinder walls are ok or go to 81.5mm)
New OEM rings
New OEM crank bearings
Have rings, crank and crank bearings WPC treated (should I do more like the rods/ Pistons I figure the crank sees more wear than rods?)
Now my questions for the build. I assume I'll need to upgrade my stock HF fuel pump? What about injectors I seem to see some people keep stock and some upgrade. I assume staying stock will have their duty cycle almost maxed right?
And will the stock ITR intake manifold/ TB be good or should I look into upgrading that as well?
Anything I missed please feel free to point it out and tell me what you'd do. First time building a motor and want it done right.

Seems solid but if it was me i would use JDM ITR pistons instead of USDM for a slight bump in compression that will make a big diffrence in power espesially using bigger cams like the tuner 2's
Next imo the stock ITR manifold is a good manifold and will be good enough but if you have the funds and can upgrade that go with the ultra street manifold and at least a 70 -74 mm TB with either a 3'' ITR AEM cold air intake or the Injen 3'' cai there pretty much the same and i think you should have a very fun motor.
Also stock injectors will be good for about 200 WHP but i would get RDX 410cc injectors there very cheap about $260 new with clips and there good injectors! also a 255 walbro fuel pump wont hurt there cheap and better to have a good flowing pump.

Perfect I'll upgrade the fuel system too while its pulled.
Did the 96' spec not have good Pistons? It's a jdm motor but does the 98+ have better compression ones or was that a type-o? As far as Pistons go can anything else like CTR or p30( these are lower compression I think?) give me a nice bump?
I might look into a manifold but for now think I'll keep it stock. If it's not that restrictive that is.
Thanks for the input I GREATLY appreciate it.

look up the comp calculator for B series engines
it's close to my set up.

Sounds almost exactly like it. I'm not too familiar with those cams are they similar to the tuner 2?
Do you guys think this will make over 190 at the wheels or is 200 just a dream?

Looking into injectors the RDX ones seem to be a good option. I was going to order a Rywire harness and he has the option to just use RDX injectors in the harness. Would this be a good route or any negatives to these injectors?

192 on mustang dyno is about 220 on dyno jet : )
ya it's about stage 2 or 2.5
Theres lots of great reviews on RDX injectors!
OEM (Denso) Acura RDX injectors. These injectors are rated for 410cc (at 38 psi) and 550cc (at 70psi) and offer a much improved spray pattern over the factory Type-S (310 cc) injectors. These features offer the K-series engine increased fuel flow and better fuel atomization.
They are the perfect upgrade for stock and modified N/A K-series engines. Stock bottom end motors with cams, valvetrain and upgraded intake manifolds may already be maxing out the duty cycle of the factory Type-S injectors.
Please note that or other engine management is essential to control these higher flowing injectors.
