Default 93 hatch, Radiator fan not turning on... But no over heating?

did a swap the other day (engine and tranny i put in was mines off another car), anyways the radiator fan is not coming on, but its not overheating. Haven't driven it too much since the swap because i didn't wanna risk breaking something. Please help. I'd also like to know how to rig the fan to stay on while the car is turned on (without a switch, and without plugging and unplugging wires when i go to drive and after i'm done driving) for temporary use while getting whatever you guys say it needs, fixed.

Unplug the fan switch. It's a 2 pin plug on the thermostat housing. Jumper that plug. Does the fan come on with the plug jumped?

Don't ghetto rig it to be always on.
