Does anyone know if I can fit a d1.5 engine onto a D1.6 transmission ?

Default Does anyone know if I can fit a d1.5 engine onto a D1.6 transmission ?

My engine started knocking a while ago and it got to the point where it stop working. I bought a jdm d1.5 but the engine I had on my 94 civic coupe has a d1.6 does anybody knows if it will fit and also if the housing in the transmission is different I really need help

It fits just fine. Everything will bolt on. The intake manifold might have a few differences but you can use the 1.6 manifold in the 1.5 motor.

should fit just fine! i have the JDM D15 trans on my D16 and it fit perfect
