2012 CR-V Heat isn't hot
Hi!
I am a first time Honda owner, just purchased a 2012 CR-V last week. Today I noticed that when I turn on the heat, it doesn't get hot at all. On my 45 minute commute this morning the air blowing out was barely lukewarm. The temperature was set to the hottest setting, and the blower was also set to the max.
Since the car is still under a 1 month warranty with the dealer, I have made an appointment for Wednesday for them to fix this. It's starting to get cold here and I NEED to have heat in the car.
Is this a common problem with this car, and what is the fix for it? I don't know much about cars and wouldn't even know where to begin as far as figuring out what the problem is.
Thanks!!

Did you get the heating fixed? Kristi1989, what was the problem with your heater, the heating core or thermostat? My co-worker's Honda Element is doing the same thing.

They flushed the heater core, and everything has worked fine since then. It was a known problem and it took them a day to flush it.
