Default Putting old sensors into a new block, what sealant to use?

I am doing an engine swap. I will have to take off old sensors and put them into a new engine... I am wondering what type sealant I can use to ensure zero leak in the long run.... I know the threads are pipe threads and technically I don't have to apply any type of sealant.. Maybe I just have to clean the thread really good? Your advice?

Teflon Tape has always worked well for me.

+1 for threadlocker. I used it on my block heater and I haven't experienced a leak there since.
