91 Honda Civic timing issue
Hello everyone,
I have a 91 Honda Civic and I recently replaced the distributor. And I guess I didn't put the new one in the exact same place as the old one. So I bought a timing light and I also shorted the timing adjusting connector with a price of wire. But every time I get the timing mark lined up I could feel the computer interfere and mess it up again. I'm pretty sure I shorted the right connector(the blue connector under the passenger side dash. Above the kick panel and next to the blower motor). The check engine light didn't come on which I thought it was supposed to. So if you guys have any ideas that'd be great. Thanks
