I have searched to try and find a definitive answer but have not found it.
I'm in the market for an ITR rear spoiler but am on the fence between no brake or with brake light. I have a GS-R and would like to avoid using plugs and don't mind the light being on the spoiler. If using the spoiler WITH the brake light, will I need to use plugs or will the base cover up all holes like the OEM part?
If it doesn't cover up the holes and plugs are still visible, I will just go with OEM.
Lastly, where is a good place to order the spoiler from with the brake light? I know where to get the actual OEM part.
Thanks!

my original spoiler brake light fried out.
i removed the spoiler since it doesnt do much anyway
and i like the non spoiler look. but here in mo you must have a third brake light
if the car originally had one so i rigged up a $3 brake light and taped
it to the rear window. that was good enough for the safety inspector dude
then i just removed it later since it looked stupid. never got pulled over for it
either. last time i forgot to rig it up for the inspection and the same guy forgot it had to be there lmao.
also they arent required to check backup lights and my smaller than stock passenger mirror that would fail inspection
if on driver's side is a-ok since they dont check that either.
plus no emissions tests out here in the boonies even though theyre hassling everyone in st. louie about it.
gotta love incompetent bureaucracy.

Yes, I do have a GS-R.
My concern was more about having to shave a few holes off if I use the OEM spoiler vs. using an aftermarket spoiler that has the brake light, using the wiring that comes form the trunk and possibly covering up the holes all together.
Thanks

I'm not thrilled with the aftermarket fit, the OEM will probably be much less trouble.
