Does anyone know how to remove the fuel filler neck on a 93 del sol? I searched but only found tutorials on other Hondas where the filler neck goes inside the rear wheel well. On the del sol, it goes inside the car and attaches to the tank in a place that can not be accessed from the interior. Do I need to drop the tank?

So in case anyone comes here by way of a search engine and wants to know the answer. The filler neck can be removed without dropping the tank. There is a plastic panel under the car held in with retainer clips. Mine was so covered in dirt, I thought it was a steel part of the car welded on. Once that is removed, there is access to two hose clamps. Remove those and then remove all the mounting bolts inside the car and the 3 by the filler neck. Those hoses flex enough where you can push the neck backwards and out of the hole in the body. Once you reach that point, you need to rotate the whole thing about a quarter turn backwards and it will eek out. Getting it back in required 2 people - one to hold the hoses from underneath, the other to push the pipe back in from inside the car.
