heater hose

so im driving along and when i park my pass side is smoking heavy. turns out the heater hose rips open and is a common problem ON ALL HONDAS. just a heads up to replace yours before u overheat your engine

I just replaced mine last week. Oil on the hose just under the distributor. It got me to wondering if a silocone hose would cure that. I have never used them.
