Default Engine dies as soon as you put it in drive

2001 civic, just like the title says will run in park, reverse, and neutral, but when shifted into drive it will either run horribly or die immediately. Honestly don't know where to start.

Any codes? Is the CEL on? Is the D light blinking?

Check the level of ATF.

Check the ignition switch as they are known to go bad on this gen Civic.

Atf level is good, replaced computer, transponder, ignition switch, key cylinder, and entire throttle body. Starting to think it's crank or cam position sensor. Still does the same thing but I've noticed it flutters when switching back and forth between park/reverse/neutral/and drive. It stayed running for longer when I replaced the components.

hey brotha, I'm having the same issues with my Honda, it bogs out on reverse and drive. To turn it on i have to give it some gas but will stay on after no problem. It began when I was going up a hill the engine bogged out and died. Paid $400 for a tow. Do you think this sensor from Amazon will work?
