Please help ... just a widow here ... hired an ASE doing side work
that is NOT Honda to swap out #4 parts on my car ...
I HAVE OWNED THIS CAR SINCE IT WAS A YEAR OLD........
1.) starter--first one ever
2.) ignition switch--5th one (AMERICAN HONDA REINBURSEMENT)
3.) thermonstat
4.) sensor on motor that tells the motor it is warm so the motor quits surging
-- HE HAS NOT GOTTEN TO THAT SENSOR YET

CAR RUNS GREAT UNTIL IT GETS WARM THEN STALLS OUT.
HE SAYS
P1362 LEADING HIM TO DISTRIBUTOR --

ANY SUGGESTIONS?...I FOUND A NEW ONE for 100$ and a year warranty which is a good thing.
... owned this car since it was a year old.
... have not ever put this part on my car

PRIOR:
4 timing belts
multiple oil changes
standard tune ups
(5 IGNITION SWITCHES -- [AMERICAN HONDA REINBURSMENT])
But have always pulled into the dealership.
-- just now going back to work
not flush for cash or had a husband who saved me tons of cash etc. and found this mechanic doing side work.

THAT IS THE ONLY WORK I HAVE HAD TO DO ON THIS COUPE
(leather, roof, tons of chrome, etc.)
= 260,000 MI LATER
-- STILL A VERY SWEET CAR

QUESTION: do you think this mechanic has a good idea of what is going on with my Coupe?

The TDC sensor is down behind the timing belt. Its possible the crank timing pulley which the TDC reads off of as it spins has accumlated dirt which is preventing it from being read correctly.
