Default Can an Acura trans go into an 04 Accord Coupe

I have a 04 accord coupe ex v6 automatic. The clutch packs went out and it outrageously expensive for a rebuilt trans. Can I put a acura trans in my car?? They are a lot cheaper. Any help will be appreciated.

Yes, but it will be challenging. Also, Acura automatic transmissions are equally expensive... if not more pricey. Have you considered a used one that is designed for your application ???

Ya, I have. They run from $900-1800 from a pull yard/junk yard. My clutch packs went out and noone will just put just them in they have to rebuild the whole trans. $2404-5300 is what I've been told by all the trans shops in northern Colorado. That more than I can spend right now so I was trying to get some other ideas. I appreciate your input. Anything & everything is very appreciated. Thank you
