Default 2000 Honda Accord V6

My wife was driving our 2000 Honda Accord today when she heard a noise and the power steering stopped working. Lifted the hood to find that the pulley had came off. It looks like maybe the bolt wasn't tightened properly. We are not the original owner and it looks like an after market pump. Will an OEM nut from Honda work on an after market pump? Do you think it did any damage to the pump when it came off? The pump still spins pretty easily.

You could always take the car down to the dealer and ask them if they'd let you see if it fits before you pay for it... (?)

I would imagine the nut would be the same thread, etc..., but stranger things have happened.

Majestic Honda parts usually lists the size/pitch of the thread if you just need a temporary nut from the local hardware store. Purchase a new nut from Honda, reinstall the PS pulley and verify everything works fine. Only real way to know.
