Ok, so my 1990 CRX has a battery light that stays on even when the car and ignition are turned off, and it also drains my battery.

While driving is intermittent at low rpm?
Alternator was recently replaced with an autozone after market?

Any ideas?

So you think if the ignition key is off and removed and the battery light it's still on it could still be the alternator?

 

did this problem exist before the alternator was replaced? also does the battery drain while driving or only when its sitting still?

I would drive the car back to autozone and at least have them do a load test on the alternator in the parking lot. If its bad It should be under warranty
